It is gross cynicism and hypocrisy
to say that our humanity compels us

purely because you withhold food
preferring to destroy food spoilt
that has sat unused in the sun
Holocaust denial is offensive
as is genocide denial
to declare “there is no genocide in Gaza”
is a lie
a deliberate lie
and, if not, and genuinely believed,
such words could only be formed in a mind filled with hated.
It is a lie that even Jewish Holocaust scholars inconveniently contradict
Never again should be a universal pledge
not dependent on the victim
